Fairfield
Glade, TN
Fairfield
Glade remains one of the top retirements destinations in the US
People
have been choosing Fairfield Glade as their retirement destination
since 1970 when Fairfield Glade Communities began their development
of the 12,500 acre wooded development located on the Cumberland Plateau
in Cumberland County.
There are many
reasons for the exodus to Fairfield Glade, but the primary ones are
unparalleled beauty, climate, first class amenities, and a central
location to the eastern half of the country.
Imagine...
a resort community carved out of the Tennessee Wilderness on top of
a 12,000 acres plateau with breathtaking views built around five championship
golf courses, eleven lakes and populated with 7,000 of the friendliest
people in the world.

Fairfield Glade, TN. A paradise to many. The combination of economic
living expenses, low property taxes, good year round climate, and
low crime rate has made Fairfield Glade very attractive to people
all over the USA as one of the perfect places to retire to. Throw
in Cumberland Countys nationally recognized theater, hospital with
over 200 beds, that is ranked in the top 100 community hospitals in
the country and you can start to see why people are so high on our

GOLF
CAPITAL OF TENNESSEE
The Cumberland
Plateau is renowned for its climate, which has four distinct seasons
and mild winters when many golfers continue their daily regime on
the links. The mild temperature and cool summer nights are perfect
for golf, a sport played year round here. The county offers 11 championship
courses, 5 of which are located in Fairfield Glade. All this explains
why the State of Tennessee has labeled Cumberland County as the Golf
Capital of Tennessee. Many golf leagues play year round and there
are indoor tennis and indoor swimming available. Also, there is a
new state of the art wellness center built by the Cumberland Medical
Center which is evidence of the dedication of the local hospital to
our community. The new center offers inside swimming, walking tracks
and medical services as well as a first class workout center.
